Sherry Kughn loves writing encouraging words for empty
nesters, especially for mature Christian mothers. Her goal
when she wrote Heart Tree for Empty Nesters was to help
members of her own Sunday School class. She taught the
manuscript to her classmates and was encouraged by how
they responded. The Bible lessons they studied and Sherry’s
personal stories helped them improve the relationships with
their adult children. A friend encouraged Sherry to send the
book to Lambert Book House in Florence, AL. Publisher Ed
Garner responded quickly and agreed that an entire series
of books aimed at mature women fit in with his goal of
providing quality Christian literature for readers. Since
publication of Heart Tree for Empty Nesters and Faith
Flight for Empty Nesters, Sherry spends her time involved
in motivational speaking and in writing. Like the baby birds
in Faith Flight for Empty Nesters, Sherry feels that her faith
in God has allowed her to take a leap of faith, to exercise
her faith, and to fly upwards in faith toward finding what
God has in her future. |
